  • 100 Nights to Decide: The home trial lasts for 100 nights from the day your mattress is delivered. (Plenty of time to be sure it’s “the one.”) Mark your calendar – day 100 is the final day to request an exchange if needed.
  • 50-Night Minimum Trial: We ask that you try the mattress for at least 50 nights before deciding. Your body often needs a few weeks to adjust to a new mattress feel. (No exchanges can be initiated before 50 nights) – this ensures you give the mattress a fair chance to break in and support you properly.
  • One Exchange Per Purchase: Each mattress purchase is entitled to one exchange within the 100-night period. After an exchange, the trial on that purchase is considered complete. (So make that second choice count – we’ll help you get it right!)
  • Exchange-Only Policy (No Refunds): Our 100-night trial is an exchange program – we do not offer refunds on trial mattresses. Instead, if your first choice isn’t ideal, we will swap it for a different model of your choosing. This way, you’ll always have a mattress to sleep on and end up with a product you love, rather than starting over from scratch.
  • £99 Non-Refundable Exchange Fee: If you decide to exchange your mattress, a £99 one-time fee will apply. This non-refundable fee covers the collection of the original mattress from your home and delivery of the new mattress. (The trial itself is free – you’re only charged if you exchange. There are no hidden costs beyond this fee.)
  • Selected Mattresses Only: The 100-night home trial applies to selected mattress models in our range. Eligible products will clearly mention the “100-Night Trial” on their page. (If a mattress isn’t labeled as such, it’s not included in the trial.) This program typically covers our most popular mattresses – feel free to ask if you’re unsure about a model’s eligibility.
  • Use a Mattress Protector: To take part in the trial, you must use a mattress protector from the first night onward. This keeps the mattress clean and hygienic. It’s a simple step that ensures we can happily exchange the mattress if needed. Tip: a waterproof protector is best to guard against any spills or accidents.
  • Keep It Clean & Undamaged: In order to honor the exchange, the mattress must be returned in a hygienic, like-new condition. That means no stains, spills, or significant damage. Normal gentle use is fine (that’s what the trial is for!), but please avoid any misuse. A soiled or misused mattress will void the trial. (If the mattress comes back unfit for resale or donation, we unfortunately cannot exchange it – so take care of it as if you might be sleeping on it for years to come.)
  • Original Packaging Not Required: Don’t worry about trying to shove the mattress back in its box or packaging. We’ll pick it up as-is. Just leave the removal to us – our delivery team will handle everything. (Your job is simply to open the door and point to the mattress – we got it from there!)
  • UK Mainland Only: This home trial is available to our customers in the UK mainland. If you move the mattress outside the UK during the trial, the offer would no longer apply. (We’ve gotta stick to our service area for logistics reasons.)

Which mattresses are eligible for the 100-night trial?

Only selected mattresses in our catalogue come with the 100-night trial offer. These products are clearly marked with a “100-Night Trial” badge on the product page. Most of our best-selling models are included. If you’re browsing, look for that badge, or filter your search for “Trial Offer” to see eligible mattresses. (If you’re unsure, you can always ask our customer support to confirm if a particular model qualifies.)

The trial starts on the day your new mattress is delivered to your home. Night 1 is your first night sleeping on it. It then ends 100 nights later (roughly 3 months and 10 days). For example, if your
mattress arrives on January 1st, your trial window spans through April 10th. You must request any exchange by the 100th night. Don’t worry – we’ll remind you of your end date in your order confirmation, so you know exactly how long you have.

The trial itself is completely free – there is no extra charge when you buy an eligible mattress to have the 100-night trial benefit. You only pay a fee if you decide to exchange the mattress. The fee is £99 and it covers the pickup of your original mattress and delivery of the replacement mattress (essentially the transportation and handling costs). If you end up keeping your initial mattress (and we hope you do love it!), you pay nothing more. There are no restocking fees or hidden charges
lurking around.

We require at least 50 nights of try-out because adjusting to a new mattress takes time – for you and the mattress. Mattresses often feel different after a few weeks as materials settle and your body adapts to the new support. Think of it like breaking in a new pair of shoes; initial comfort can improve as you get used to it. 50 nights (about 7 weeks) gives you a fair period to truly know if the mattress is right. Most customers find that any initial firmness or softness adjusts within this time. If after 50 nights you’re still not sleeping well, that’s a good indicator it might not be the best match – and we’ll step in to help with an exchange.

It’s easy! If you’ve hit at least 50 nights and are not completely satisfied, just get in touch with our customer service team. Send us a quick email or give us a call – whichever is convenient. We’ll ask for your order details and a couple of photos of the mattress (to ensure it’s in good condition and to speed up the process). Then, our team will help you choose a different mattress that addresses your concerns (so your next choice is more likely to be perfect). We’ll schedule a pickup for your current mattress and delivery for the new one at a date that suits you. Remember, the exchange must be requested before the 100-night mark – so don’t wait until the last day if you’re unhappy. We’re here to make it seamless!

The 100-night trial is designed as an exchange-only program, so refunds are not offered for simply not liking the mattress. The goal is to ensure you have a mattress you’re happy with. If the first one isn’t working out, we will work with you to find one that does. (Of course, if there’s a defect or warranty issue with a product, that’s handled separately through our warranty process.) But for comfort preferences, we’ll exchange rather than refund. This way, you’re never left without a bed to sleep on during the process – a refund would leave you back at square one, and we don’t want you to lose any sleep over that!

If you exchange for a higher-priced mattress, you would simply pay the difference in cost. Our team will let you know the price difference and arrange the additional payment before delivery. If you choose a less expensive mattress as the replacement, we will refund you the difference in price. (The £99 exchange fee still applies regardless, as it’s related to transport.) We’ll make sure everything is transparent cost-wise before you confirm the swap, so there are no surprises.

The £99 fee is non-refundable. It’s a flat charge to cover the two-way logistics of the exchange (picking up your returned mattress, handling inspection/cleaning or donation, and delivering your new mattress). We don’t profit from this fee – it purely goes toward those operational costs. Even if you end up not going through with an exchange after initiating (say you change your mind and keep the mattress), if the process was already arranged, that fee would still be due once we’ve dispatched a team. So be sure you’re certain you want to exchange when you reach out. (Good news: this rarely happens – most people who initiate an exchange do want the new mattress!).

In short – clean and undamaged. We expect the mattress to be in good, hygienic condition, since it’s been in your home for up to 100 days. That means no noticeable stains, no spills, no tears or punctures, and no odors or marks from misuse. Using a mattress protector from day one (as required) should ensure your mattress stays pristine. When you contact us for an exchange, we’ll likely ask for photos to verify its condition. As long as it looks well-kept, we’ll green-light the exchange. If a mattress comes back to us in poor condition (for example, heavily soiled or damaged beyond normal “testing” wear), unfortunately we won’t be able to honor the trial exchange and the mattress would be returned to you or disposed of (depending on the situation). Bottom line: treat the mattress kindly during the trial, and there will be no issues exchanging it.

No need! We won’t ask you to somehow squeeze the mattress back into its box. (Anyone who’s tried that knows it’s nearly impossible once expanded!) When our team comes to handle the exchange, they will wrap and remove the mattress for you. You just need to have the mattress accessible for pickup – we’ll take care of the rest. So feel free to discard the packaging responsibly after you unpack your mattress on day one.

Ever wonder where trial mattresses go? We’ve got a zero-waste mindset. If the returned mattress is in excellent condition, we donate it to local charities or shelters whenever possible, so someone in need can benefit. If it’s not suitable for donation, we will recycle it through accredited recycling programs to minimize landfill waste.
